This is a great outfit if you're looking for allround versatility in both freshwater and saltwater applications. The Shimano Ballistix rod is a 6ft 6 in length and rated to fish line classes from 2 to 4kg. The graphite blank is high quality which helps you cast lightweight baits or lures with ease. The guides are all quality fuji components and has a hook keeper and cork composite grips for a nice feel. The Daiwa Regal choice is superb. Extremely smooth due to it's 10 bearings and quality engineering, the drag is silky smooth and has a great casting spool and is very lightweight which balances with the rod really well.
