This outfit is very unique, there aren't many rods that can handle heavy line classes but can break down to a 4 piece design. Made of hi grade graphite the Shimano Ballistix can handle line class up to 35lb, it's tip section is light enough to cast stickbaits but also firm enough to be able to work a large popper. The rod also comes with a hard rod tube which is great for the travelling angler. The reel choise is the reliable Shimano Saragosa 10000, this reel has excellent drag performance as well as Shimano reliable gearing a great choice for this rod.
